Top Performers:
AAA
Jose Miranda, #8, 3B
5 Games, .381 BA (8/21), 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 SO
- Are you surprised? The answer is probably not, and for good reason. Jose Miranda will likely get an invite to spring training and get added onto the 40-man roster. Between Double and Triple-A, he had a .344 batting average, with 30 home runs and 94 RBIs. It’ll be interesting to see if the Twins making any moves to ensure he plays every day in the big leagues.
Tomás Telis, C
5 Games, .364 BA (8/22), 1 HR, 3 RBI, 2 BB, 4 SO
- Tomás Telis made several appearances on this list this season. The 30-year-old offensive hitting catcher may not earn playing time with the Twins, but his success shouldn’t go unnoticed. Even though it was only three games, he hit .462 in October.
Yennier Cano, RHP
2 Games, 4.0 IP, 00.00 ERA 2 H, 1 BB, 6 SO
- Yennier Cano is a name know heading into next season. He was previously ranked in the Twins’ top-30 prospects but fell out of it halfway through the season. There’s still a lot to like from the 27-year-old from Cuba. Cano dominated Double-A but had some struggles in Triple-A – nothing of concern. He had some struggles against left-handed hitters, but nothing too crazy.
Top Prospects
Drew Strotman, #17, SP
1 Game, 1.0 IP, 27.00 ERA 2 H, 4 BB, 1 SO
